I’m apologising now for the rather lengthy review, but I’d like to give my honest opinion.
I’ve just received my bulk order of Cherry Blossom & Plum from Carlys Candles after ordering a box in a random test selection and deciding it was my favourite.
To say I’m genuinely impressed is an understatement! The fragrance is so rich and powerful that even my postie commented on the beautiful scent wafting through the box before she’d even handed it over.
This brand has quickly become one of my absolute favourites. Carly generously added two full-size samples to my order, and I was really excited to discover these were an as yet unreleased fragrance — Fiery Orange & Bergamot — which is absolutely incredible. I’ll definitely be adding that one to my regular rotation.
As a lovely surprise, Carly also threw in a Black Plum hand-wash, which smells divine. I’m definitely ordering a full-size version for our guest bathroom in time for the posh sister-in-law visit. 😂 Nothing says 5-star luxury like amazing scents for your guests!
Background note: I’ve tried pretty much every artisan botanical soy wax melt out there and only ever bought from two other companies. One will always have my custom, and the other was also excellent… until I discovered Carlys Candles. This company has now replaced the second one simply because of this scent, which is similar to one they do. It was the only wax melt I ever purchased from them in bulk, but Carly’s is far superior in scent throw, quality, and overall experience. The second company has officially been replaced!
